About the Blog

The attorneys at Bozorgi Law have always been committed to supporting and mentoring other women defense attorneys. We are active in the Women White Collar Defense Association. Susan Bozorgi is Global Vice Chair of the Association and Cristina Laramee Souto works on the Social Media Subcommittee.

Similarly, Susan Bozorgi founded a blog in 2012, Women Criminal Defense Attorneys (WCDA Blog) to shed light on the women in the field. The blog serves multiple purposes: First, to develop a written history of women in the field through interviews—both of women who paved the road and those still actively practicing; Second, to highlight cases where women are representing corporations and individuals; and Third, to bring light to issues relevant to women in law and women in general.
